Brian Day became a new member! For those of you who do not know, Brian is active in the Rocklin Chamber and represents Garland Sturges & Quirk Insurance.
Frank Udvarhely earns his Blue Badge!
Guest speaker

Our speaker on 4/4 was Kimberly Pruett, Senior Field Representative for California 4th District Congressman Tom McClintock who was not able to meet with us himself.

Kimberly has worked for the Congressman for over nine years, she works out of the district office in Roseville and helps to cover all 10 counties in the district. The office is open to everyone, anyone with problems is advise to contact the office. Kimberly left cards so that contact with Congressman McClintock for information would be easier.

The 4th district has natural resources issues: water, wildlife. national and state parks. Other issues are with farming, lumber industry, etc.

A few questions were asked and answered to conclude a very interesting presentation.

Thank you  Kimberly Pruett.

Remember Brewfest is June 2nd!  Let's make ours a time to remember.
A Note from the Editor
What does it mean to be a Rotarian?

Have you ever thought about why you are donating your time, talents and treasures to this organization? I joined Rotary, yes to network with likeminded people in the community; however, I wanted to help good people become better. My goal is to bring the skills I have and the resources I have acquired to help those in need, inspire those unmotivated and involve others in this worthy cause.

So for those of you who are Rotarians at heart and get involved every step of the way or the Rotarians in spirit who come for lunch in a nice place each week, or the rest who sit in the sidelines and observe what the rest of your club is doing, let us take pride in our Rotarian connection and show other clubs exactly what it means to be part of this wonderful organization.  Best to everyone!
