This week's speaker is Randy Tooker, the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Placer County. He will discuss the club's mission to inspire and empower all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. He will also share the latest updates and ways to support the club.
Force of Nature
Last week's speaker was Joan Griffin, the author of Force of Nature. She shared how she lives under the spell of wanderlust and takes wing, whenever possible, for actual destinations near and far and for literary locales in the pages of her book Force of Nature, which is equal parts gripping adventure tale, personal memoir, and vivid nature writing.
Rocklin Brewfest

It takes around 100 people to run the event. All active Club members are expected to participate, so please sign up to volunteer if you haven't already.
The Rocklin Brewfest is Placer County's Premier Beer Event, put on by our club, the premier club of District 5180. This is our big fundraising event, so don't forget there are many opportunities to serve and support the club. Reminder: We are all on the committee, so let's get out there and sell some tickets.
