Labor Day is celebrated to honor the significant social and economic contributions of American workers and to commemorate the labor movement that fought for better working conditions, fair wages, and safer workplaces
This week's speaker is Victoria Curtis, Founder and Executive Director of RRUFF Healing Heroes. She will share RRUFF's mission tosupport and empower disabled veterans and first responders through canine-assisted therapy and other healing strategies.
Rocklin Chamber of Commerce
Last week's speakers were Robin Trimble, Nicolle Skarg, and Greg Robertson of the Rocklin Chamber. There was a fantastic turnout for the meeting, and the chamber and our club members shared its rich history and connections to our Rotary Club and its members. We also heard about the events and operations, as well as the plans for the upcoming year.
Rotary Social
Last week, we had our Rotary Social at Kathrin's Biergarten. The evening was filled with good times, playing music bingo, and great conversations with a great group of people.

This is an excellent opportunity to roll up your sleeves, help beautify one of Rocklin’s natural spaces, and spend a few hours making an immediate impact in our community. We'll be picking up trash and clearing debris along the creek and open space area — and yes, the City will supply gloves, bags, trash grabbers, and will even handle the hauling!
