Last week's speaker was Stephanie Berger, President/Co-Founder of Silver Wishes. She shared the organization's mission of impacting the lives of seniors, one wish at a time. Silver Wishes Inc. was created to let seniors living in Placer County, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, and Citrus Heights know they matter and have a purpose. By granting wishes, Silver Wishes wants to help them experience hope and feel valued.

What's Happening in Rotary
Expedition Baja is coming up, and it's a great opportunity to travel, serve, and change lives. It is a trip that is uniquely suited to Rotarians. Not only will Rotarians work hard on the Camp Hope Project, but they will also be exposed to the people and cuisine of rural Baja California.

We have the following club service events coming up.

Run Rocklin, March 29th - Provide water on the course with our Interact clubs and present awards to runners at the finish line. - Contact Randy Green on how you can help

Adopt a Creek Program, April 25th - an environmental initiative where the club "adopts" a section of a creek or waterway to help maintain and protect it. The program is run by the City of Rocklin. - Contact Ken Broadway on how you can help

More information on these and other service projects to come. Keep an eye out for updates in the newsletters and our events calendar on the club site.
