This week, in place of our club meeting at Whitney Oaks, you are encouraged to join us at our annual Aerospace Museum Tour. In addition to recognizing and supporting the educational opportunities of our STEAM students, this project provides you with the opportunity to interact with our RUSD students and the museum docents, visit one of the top aerospace museums in the country, and explore the wonders of flight and technology. 3Strands Global Foundation
Last week, we hadKarla Clark, the Senior Development Officer of 3Strands Global Foundation. Karla shared their Mission and Vision: a world free from human trafficking by mobilizing communities to combat human trafficking through prevention education and reintegration programs. She also shared opportunities on how to get involved and support.
Craig Perra also received his blue badge last week. Below is Chris presenting Craig with his blue badge. Congratulations, Craig, on earning your blue badge.
Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival
On December 7th join us for the 17th annual Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival at beautiful Quarry Park! Come gather with us and enjoy a holiday market to support local crafters and artisans, tasty food trucks, live entertainment with local artists and troupes, a visit with Santa, and more!
Our club runs a booth serving hot chili to the public at no charge. Students from local Interact Clubs participate and run the booth with the assistance of Club members. It's a great way to get into the holiday spirit and support this civic celebration. See the events calendar for more information and for an opportunity to serve the community.
