Measure C

This week's speaker is Cherri Spriggs, CEO of Meraki Public Affairs and Executive Director of Placer Business Alliance. She will discuss Measure C, which is a proposed half-cent (0.5%) local sales tax on the November 3, 2026, ballot.

Last Week's Event

Last Saturday was the Placer SPCA Wag & Walk event. The Placer SPCA Wags -Walk Event is a popular community festival that benefits animals in need throughout Placer County!  Our club has participated for many years, and we were out in full force again, supporting the event and operating our booth to get the word out about Rotary and our club.

Upcoming Events

Coming this Sunday: RockPAL Cornhole Tournament

Rocklin Rotary will once again provide the fencing for this annual RockPAL event. That means we get the glamorous job of putting it up—and then taking it down!

Sunday, October 18, Rocklin PAL will host its 4th Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser—a day full of fun, friendly competition, and most importantly, community impact.
Johnson-Springview Park

Volunteer Opportunities:
7:30–9:00 AM: Fencing setup
3:00–4:30 PM: Fencing teardown & put-away

Contact Ken for more information and to volunteer.

It’s a great way to support RockPAL, help make the event run smoothly, and get a little Rotary muscle-building workout in the process.

November Service Opportunities -

Veterans Day Service Project: Wednesday, November 11 – Veterans Day.

Aerospace Museum STEAM Student Project: Friday, November 13.

Member Socials

Don't have FOMO, be there: We have some great club socials coming up this Rotary year to build community and connection among club members and their partners. These events help build support for our service projects by giving club members an opportunity to get to know each other better and their partners to learn more about the club.

Just two weeks away.

An Afternoon of Fine Wine, Fellowship, & Fun; Saturday October 24th 11:00 to 3:00 PM

Save the date for upcoming socials:

  • Night of Creativity, Fun & Fellowship, Painting Party; Wedensday, Februrary 11th, 6PM

Keep an eye out for more details on these and other social events. A big thank you to Laura & Steve for coordinating.
