No Meeting
There is no meeting this week. We have our Rotary Holiday Celebration this coming weekend. Let's spread some holiday cheer and have fun.

Tips to Manage the Holiday Damage
Last week's speaker fell ill and had to cancel, so our very own Tanya Woodruff came to the rescue and spoke about Tips to Manage the Holiday Damage. Her purpose is to connect with people through humor and authenticity to help them live a more joyful and purposeful life. She shared some very good tips, from eating right and hydration to getting good rest and having a plan, but most importantly, enjoying time with family and friends.

Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival
Last Saturday, December 7th, we had a great turnout for our Chili Booth at the Rocklin Tree Lighting Festival. The Interact students enthusiastically ran the booth and did a great job! We had 16 students from Western, Whitney, and Del Oro, featured below.

Diaper Drive
Reminder: We have a few days left to help Sierra College students who have small children ensure they are able to focus on their education and provide much-needed care to their children.

Between November 23rd and December 11th, we will collect donations of diapers, formula, and money (should you choose to donate money to purchase items on your behalf). The donations can be brought to our Club lunches/meetings or dropped off at the Broadway Residence, 2004 Denton Ct, Rocklin, CA 95765. A large box will be placed on the front porch for dropping off items. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please contact Ken Broadway or send via Venmo (@Broadway2024) or PayPal (dbroadways@sbcglobal.net).

The following items are needed:
Diapers (size 1 – 5)
Formula (Similac, Enfamil, Good Start, Earth’s Best, etc)

Sock Drive
Reminder: There are a few more days for our Sock Drive. From November 23rd through December 11th, we are looking for donations of women's, men's, and kids' socks. All donated socks will be delivered to the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce for distribution to Lighthouse, KidsFirst, and Stand Up Placer. Socks are often the most needed and least donated item received at local shelters and support locations. Socks can be dropped off at our lunch meetings or in the container on the front porch at 2004 Denton Ct, Rocklin. Last year, we collected over 524 pairs of socks.

Let's make a difference in the lives of Sierra College students and families throughout Placer County.
