District Governor Visit

This week's speaker is Megan Ellinghouse, Rotary District 5180 District Governor. Not only will she be our speaker for our club meeting, but she will also join us for a special club board meeting just before our regularly scheduled lunch meeting. She will share about what is going on in the district and learn from us about what we are doing to support our Community, the District, and Rotary at large.

Feeding the Foothills
Last week's speaker was Lisa Heinrich, Director of Development and Communications of Feeding the Foothills (formerly Placer Food Bank). She shared the organization's programs and mission to sustain communities by nourishing families experiencing food insecurity, educating the community about hunger, and advocating for hunger relief.

We also had a special presentation from Chris on the high-level numbers from the 2025 Brewfest. It was great to see a net income increase of 26%, which gives us more opportunities to serve the community.

Patriot Day

Last Sunday, 9/14, was Rocklin's Patriot Day. This event honors those who serve, and we say thank you to our military, police, fire, and other first responders. It is a free family event with many demonstrations and fun things to learn and do. Our club was out there showing our support and sharing what we do and how we serve our community while having fun. Many people came up to try their skill at getting the ping-pong balls in the cups (beer pong without the beer).
