Washoe County Emergency Planning

For the last five years, Brittany Dayton has worked as the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator for the Washoe County Health District. She is responsible for the revisions and maintenance of the Health District’s communitywide disaster response plans, like the Multi-Casualty Incident Plan and Mutual Aid Evacuation Agreement. These planning efforts help ensure first responders and healthcare personnel effectively respond to individuals involved in an incident  and attempt to minimize its impact to the community. She has a Bachelors in Political Science from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI and a Masters of Public Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
