LASSEN HS SUPERINTENDENT BILL MCCABE DESCRIBES SCHOOL CHALLENGES

Susanville Sunrise presenter Bill McCabe, Superintendent of Lassen Union High School District spoke of successes, challenges, needs, and opportunities at today's meeting. He said test scores were up last year, FBLA was named a regional program and students went to the national speech contest and placed, FFA was named a regional program and an LHS teacher of excellence was recognized, the district was in the top 20% in a new state testing structure, and the district has added a mental health counselor and plans to undertake random drug testing.
