BALES DISCUSSES FUTURE PLANS FOR BLM

Susanville Sunrise Rotary presenter Stan Bales, Bureau of Land Management Outdoor Recreation Planner, noted that there are 65+ miles of trails in the Susanville area. Susanville Ranch Park's 1,000 acres are owned and managed by Lassen County and BLM as a shared-use recreation area. Future plans include loop trails surrounding Bald Mountain and 23 miles of paths that will link Fredonyer to the Bizz Johnson Trail.
