Who We Are
Cap City Passport Club serves our local communities by volunteering time to service projects and by raising funds to support our own service projects and those of other nearby Rotary Clubs, with a special emphasis on supporting the youth in our community. Our Cap CIty Passport Club offers volunteer opportunities with few meetings. We meet twice a month which can include community service projects, socials, online and/or in-person meetings. We expect our members to offer at least 40 hours of community service a year and have fun doing it!
Our Fundraisers
We hold two fund-raisers annually. With our food trailer we sell hotdogs, hamburgers, beer, wine, soda, and Bloody Mary’s at the Nevada Day Parade. We also sell sausages, pretzels with beer-cheese dip, and mixed drinks at the Carson City Brewfest in August.
Our Community Service Project
We collaborate with CASA to provide duffle bags with essential supplies for children entering the Foster Care Program in Carson City. CASA estimates that approximately 10 kids are entered into foster care each month. With duffle bags from 'Together We Rise', we provide the child a means to store his/her belongings during this difficult transitional time.
Our Mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
