Uganda Presentation: Impacting the World

Lions and Tigers and Giraffes...OH MY! Join the "Uganda Trekkers" on a digital tour of their experience while traveling to Uganda to witness the dedication of the Rotary funded Bwindi Nursing School in Bwindi, Uganda. You'll hear stories of travel adventures, breathtaking wild animal encounters, and of course, the heartfelt dedication and ribbon cutting of the brand new and very modern Bwindi Nursing School.

Reno Rotarian, Jerry Hall, has played a key role in securing an international grant from Rotary International to support the efforts of Dr. Scott Kellerman who is assisting the Batwa Pygmies. Jerry's efforts calumniated in the official dedication ceremony on May 21st, 2014 with 7 Reno area Rotarians in attendance. Tuesday's program will feature the recollections of these travelers including their favorite photos from the trip. The presentation will also include a short video, created by Kevin LeVezu, entitled "After the Bell Rings" which highlights Rotary's contributions to Uganda and the Kellerman Foundation.
