Reno Central Wine Wheel Barrel Update
Calling on all Rotarians! Don't forget to bring your bottles of wine to this week's meeting!!!!
Update 2/25/2014
John Jones is donating two nice bottles of wine that we should put in the silent auction:
1) 2005 Kongsgard, Napa Valley Viognier; current value $100. This Viognier received a 96 pt. (out of 100) rating from Robert Palmer (publisher of the Wine Advocate). 2) 2005 Kongsgard, Napa Valley Chardonnay; current value $90. This Chardonnay received a 98 pt. rating from Robert Palme
Steve Rosenthal approached me after the meeting today and one of his clients is a local wine distributors and that he can get several cases or more of mixed wine for the wheel barrel. I asked him to ask for as much as they will donate so will keep our fingers crossed. Lastly, a client of Dave Crumbley donated two cases of nice wine so we have about 4 cases to date. We need about 11 cases to do 2 wheel barrels and about 17 cases to do 3.
