Our speaker is Brian Beffort, who will talk with us about Climate Change progress in Nevada.
Brian was born in Nevada, but raised in the Bay Area. He has been working on environmental issues in Nevada and the Sierra for more than twenty years. After three years as the Outdoors Editor for the Reno Gazette-Journal, he began working with environmental nonprofits and hasn't looked back. He worked for nearly thirteen years with Friends of Nevada Wilderness, then with Great Basin Institute, Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, and Nevada Land Trust before becoming the Toiyabe Chapter Director for the Sierra Club in February 2017.
