Our Meeting This Week Will Be At 6pm, Capri 1 and 2, at the PeppermillWe will have an evening of dining and drinks and good company—with spouse and dates encouraged! Cost will be the same as a regular meeting.

Ms. Karen Hyatt-Miner is the owner of Vino 100 in Reno—the only Vino 100 franchise west of the Mississippi. Karen was a realtor for Caldwell Banker and Liberty Realty and when the bottom fell out of the Northern Nevada housing market, she took the daring leap into entrepreneurship. She has a great story to tell about the challenge and benefits of independent business ownership in the Truckee Meadows, and about how the Vino 100 model offers a new way to buy wine. Karen and her staff work to make wine, and wine buying, easier, more enjoyable and more accessible to buyers. The New York Times described the Vino 100 approach as "turning a purchase requiring special knowledge into something for everyman, everywhere." …a user-friendly wine store."
