Reno Central Rotary has been an ardent supporter of the Adopt A Vet Dental Program (AAVD) since its start three years ago.  This is the second time Reno Central Rotary has contributed to this organization that provides a pathway for  full-service dental care donated as a pro bono service for low-income disabled military veterans who do not have a “service connected” dental loss or injury covered by the Veterans Administration.

The majority of the dental services are donated by the dental community (dentists, dental Laboratories and dental supply companies) coordinated by Washoe County Dental Society and AAVD with the Rotary contributions to AAVD overseen for Reno Central Rotary by two club members, former veteran U.S. Navy dentists, Dr. Jim Garol and Committee Member Dr. Merrill Mensor (Ret).
