FIRST TEE PRESENTATION
First Tee Northern Nevada: First Tee is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with a life skills curriculum, we create active learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that kids can carry to everything they do. We’re Building Game Changers through our programs.
Chris is a California native who moved to Reno in 2008 and has been involved in golf for over 25 years. She currently serves as the CEO of First Tee Northern Nevada, where she leads the program and curriculum development. Chris has been involved with First Tee for over 20 years. She is a recognized First Tee golf coach and served as a national coach trainer for years and served on the Chapter advisory committee for HQ. Chris served as the tour director for U.S. kids and was named Top 50 kids’ teacher in 2011-2013. In 2014 she was named the Top 50 Master kids’ teacher and is certified in U.S. Kids club fitting. Chris also serves as the site director for the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf Program.
