Our 50th Annual Fundays Event was a great success again this year.  Saturday was a little wet in spots for the tractor pull but that didn't slow the participants at all.  This years event included something for everyone on Sunday opening with our Grange kids Pancake Breakfast, the afternoon Steak Barbecue, Equestrian trial and Poker Run, Dog Agility, Pine Needlers Quilt Show, numerous craft and information booths, Trap Shoot, Martin's Show and Shine Car Show, and a great Horse Drawn Vehicle Display with participants in dress from the era of their vehicle.
Saturday had it's weather moments but Sunday was beautiful with the sun rising over the Horse Drawn Vehicle display.
The Quilt Show was an amazing display of artistry and skill.
Beautiful example of an early ranch wagon with the proud owners in period costume
One of many craft vendor booths.  It was a little cold first thing in the morning.
There really was something for everyone
It turned into a beautiful day for the Trap Shoot
Show and Shine Best of Show.  A stunning 1941 12 cylinder Lincoln custom limousine.
People's Choice award by a margin.  This incredible 1933 Ford Pickup was built by Jerry Vanderbilt and presented by the current owner.
A little period humor!
It truly is not possible to list or thank all of the people who helped organize and setup all of the events associated with our 50th Fundays.  Thank you all for your intelligence, organization and plain hard physical work.
And on that note a special thanks to our Volunteer of the Year, last years Smith Valley Rotary Club President Lorie McMahon.  Pictured here with next years President Steve Bohler on the left and her hubby Merle on her right.  Well earned!
