Leia Simmons and Dena Kelly from Walker River Resort
The Rotary Club of Smith Valley was honored to have Dena Kelly and Leia Simmons from Walker River Resort attend our meeting on October 12th. They gave a presentation about the resorts 40 years of development to become the beautiful destination that it now is.
, Leia and her husband Stan started the resort some 40 years ago from scratch. They gave a great presentation about the development and changes throughout the years and talked about the current recreational opportunities including the sporting clay range, swimming, fishing, the 9 hole golf course and acres of great land access to enjoy your ATV's. Of course there are the 150 camp sites, the great view cabins, the bar with pool tables, and more. The resort hosts around 7500 folks a year.
