ROTARIAN OF THE YEAR - AN AWARD THAT GOES TO A PERSON NOMINATED BY THE CLUBS FELLOW ROTARIAN'S, HERE ARE JUST A FEW COMMENTS RECEIVED WITH THIS YEARS NOMINATION:
“He always completes the job and goes about his day without a lot of fanfare. As a matter of fact there are times he does not “play well with others”.
“Words cannot convey the gratitude of this club for Service Above Self.”

as been instrumental in the success of our club. As our building committee chair Van has been a one man building maintenance crew repairing everything in our club house that needs attention.”
“Van also volunteers for everything and has worked tirelessly to ensure that our clubs projects and fundraisers are completed.”
Upon her demotion as 2012-2013 Club President, Gloria LaPlant was pleased to announce the Rotarian of the year for 2012-2013 - Van Vander Veen! Thank you Van for all your hard work and dedication!
