The Morning meeting in June was a Club Assembly to discuss ways to improve the Fly-In Breakfast. Kim cooked up her world famous enchiladas for the Members to enjoy. President Kristen led the group in discussion and collected suggestions and will report back to the Fly In Committee.
June's Social was hosted by Sam & Kim Wilbanks. About 26 Members and guests attended the Reno Aces game. The Club and Rotarian Spouse Greg Ramelli made the JUMBO TRON welcoming us and wishing Happy Birthday. Nachos were passed around for everyone to enjoy and maybe a few "shots" were consumed by a couple of Members. No names mentioned. EC & RR
The Board held a retreat at the Wilbanks home to plan Club activities and focus for next year. A calendar was developed that should be available soon. Many of you should have received a follow up e-mail from Member Matt Cruse with a "Flight Planner" idea.
Also the month of June had us sending our RYE Student, Anael back to France. Anael prepared lunch for the Club Members and we all had a story or farewell wish to offer her along with a few little trinkets to remember us by. It was a very successful year for her and for us. In addition we had our RYLA student, Hunter Cabral attending the Camp at Grizzly Ranch. Our Club will be hosting the Ice Cream Social at RYLA on Monday July 9th. Great opportunity for all Members to get involved with Youth Services and especially New Members to see what RYLA is all about. In addition on Saturday July 14th they have a "Graduation Ceremony" that is moving.
