WHO WE ARE

Welcome to the Rotary of Portola. We are neighbors and friends who unite with other leaders to share ideas, solve problems, and take action to create lasting change locally and globally. As Rotarians we believe that worldwide fellowship and international peace can be achieved when people unite under the banner of "Service Above Self".

We meet twice a month at 12pm on the first and third Tuesday of the month. We feature guest speakers and plan events that benefit communities locally and abroad, all while enjoying the company of good friends. Hello Rotarians!

This Rotary year, 2022-23 is going to be great. As we move forward I want to implement projects that help people come back into the light, and move forward to a brighter future. To do that all of us Rotarians need to breathe deeply (figuratively if it's too smokey) and search for ways we can reach out to our fellow citizens and make things better. This might be just more focus on a bright smile and friendly hello. Or it could be coming together to build a fantastic culture of learning and mutual support at our schools as we are currently working towards.

We had a very successful fundraising season this year setting new records at Margaritaville (County Fair) and the Fly-In Pancake Breakfast. The money raised will allow us to continue to make a positive difference in our community. Thanks so much to all of those who supported our fundraising efforts!
