Several Members of Fallon Rotary Attended the 2016 Leadership Conference in Reno. They had a great time joining with fellow Rotary clubs to learn about better ways to serve humanity.

The club leadership assembly took place on Saturday, April 9 at the Atlantis Casino.  Several Fallon Rotarians attended to get ready for the new Rotary year (in case you've forgotten, the Rotary year begins July 1, 2016). The club's soon-to-be President, Zip Upham, as well as David Doll, Whitney Doll, Mel Foremaster, Brandon Ware, and President Elect Christopher Pierce attended to gain information, share ideas and to start the process of planning and goal setting for next year with fellow Rotarians from the District.

A myriad of sessions wer offered, and the attendees learned a lot about Rotary International writ large, as well as how Rotary can better serve local communities.  In addition to traditional offerings for Presidents-Elect, Secretaries and Treasurers, the conference offered 25 focused sessions.  Topics included: Engaging Emerging Leaders--developing your Club's toolbox; How to Use Rotary's Voice and Visual Image to benefit your Club; New Youth Programs--Most Improved Student; Girls Who Code and Club Learning Chair--putting the new Club position into Action.
