The Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Club and the Loves Park Rotary Club have joined forces to support the Rockford Rescue Mission. The Rotary Challenge 70 in 7 was launched April 2, 2020. The goal is to reach 70 donations in 7 days to support homelessness in Rockford. As the world slows down, homelessness does not stop.
The Rockton-Roscoe Rotary Club and the Loves Park Rotary Club have joined forces to support the Rockford Rescue Mission. The Rotary Challenge 70 in 7 was launched on April 2, 2020. The goal is to reach 70 donations in 7 days to support homelessness in Rockford. As the world slows down, homelessness does not stop. The Rockford Rescue Mission serves over 600 meals daily and has 175 beds. It has converted its meal service to take-out and continues to serve the homeless community in Rockford. They are in urgent need of paper products, sanitizer, eggs, beans, and cold/cough medicine. The challenge will run until April 9th. Financial donations are also accepted.
