"During the past week many of our communities have experienced damaging storms. Please make sure to reach out to your members to make sure that everyone is safe. If your club has taken on clean-up or recovery efforts in your communities, please let me know. If additional resources would help those efforts the District has a couple of sources of funding available including our relatively new Rotary District 6420 Disaster Relief Fund and some contingency funds from our Rotary Foundation. We want to make sure that Rotary is there when it is needed the most."

Today's program will be from Dan McNeil with Spring Forward. Since its inception, Spring Forward has supported thousands of students in kindergarten through 6th grade, helping them to increase literacy, academic, and social skills through fun and engaging out-of-school programming.

What? Spring Cleanup gloves, garbage bags and safety vests will be provided
Juliana Moyer assists her dad, Sam Moyer, by MC'ing a "Rainbow Trivia" contest in observance of National Find a Rainbow Day. Juliana cheered whenever she was able to "spin the Rotary wheel" in response to a wrong table answer, to the delight of club members.

During each month, Rotarians can earn tickets that go into a jar. One ticket for every time you participate in a club service project, two tickets for each guest, five tickets if you sponsor a new member. During the last meeting of the month, we pull a name and give the card.
A Request from our own Dr. Rachel Savage
Dr. Savage is seeking Rotarians and other citizens to participate in the "Portrait of a Moline - Coal Valley District Graduate" a project to collect input from citizens regarding what they expect from the district regarding preparing students. RYLA 2023
Rotary will begin seeking MHS student participants for RYLA 2023 to be held May 5-7, 2023. Rotarian volunteers will also be needed to staff RYLA.
