Former Moline Young Rotarian, Tommy Potter, visited the club on his summer break from University of Michigan.

Tommy gave us a spirited report on his summer adventure in The Hamptons -- serving as a caddy at an exclusive golf resort.

Interviewed after our Moline Rotary Club meeting Tommy stated, “This past summer I have been caddying in The Hamptons out on Long Island to unleash the best networking opportunities with CEOs and chairmen. From real estate moguls to celebrities, from $18 ice cream to $55M ocean front homes, east end New York had it all. I came out with numerous stories and many meaningful connections. It was a unique three months to say the least and now looking forward to my upcoming Sophomore year at the University of Michigan.”

Sergeant at Arms, Nicole Zook, called for members to participate in table discussions regarding club speakers and fundraisers.

Members were asked to discuss and report on:

Who is the best speaker you’ve ever seen at a Rotary meeting and what made them great?
What is the best Rotary fundraiser you’ve ever attended and why?

The MoRo Board of Directors will consider the input from members at future Board meetings, and report back to the club at a later date.
