President Laura Davis presents a check for $500 to Moline Police Chief Darren Gault to benefit disabled Moline Police Officer Brandon Bowden, who is recovering from a cancerous brain tumor. Chief Gault reported that Officer Bowden has endured difficult times, but continues to recover, and hopes to return to work in the near future.
Congratulations Tenfu
Congratulations to Tenfu Matsushita, our 2016-17 Exchange Student from Japan, upon his graduation from University of Tokyo.
Tenfu majored in International Relations Theory and was especially interested in domestic social issues such as population reduction and regional regeneration.
Tenfu has accepted a position with the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and will begin immediately.

During each month, Rotarians can earn tickets that go into a jar. One ticket for every time you participate in a club service project, two tickets for each guest, five tickets if you sponsor a new member. During the last meeting of the month, we pull a name and give the card.
A Request from our own Dr. Rachel Savage
Dr. Savage is seeking Rotarians and other citizens to participate in the "Portrait of a Moline - Coal Valley District Graduate" a project to collect input from citizens regarding what they expect from the district regarding preparing students. What? Spring Cleanup gloves, garbage bags and safety vests will be provided
