Monday, we will host Nora Bickmann-Tesch, a past Rotary Exchange Student at a special meeting on June 17th, 2024. Nora was a Rotary Exchange Student from Germany to Moline in exchange year 2005 - 2006. Now, 18 years later, Nora and her husband will be visiting Moline Rotary Club and making a presentation about how her exchange year made a huge impact on her life. All three of Nora's host families from 2005-06, and District 6420 Governor Dave Emerick are expected to attend. This is an extraordinary opportunity for us to feature the awesome influence that Rotary Youth Exchange has on the lives of so many people worldwide! Don't miss this special Moline Rotary Club event!

Bob Noe Classification Talk
Bob presented to the club a very illuminating recap of his 60 years as an attorney. Bob did his undergrad work at St. Ambrose College (now University) and received his Juris Doctorate at Notre Dame Law School. Bob worked in a couple firms before his final position as senior partner at the prestigious law firm of Bozeman, Neighbour, Patton, & Noe. Throughout his career, Bob was a fierce defender, a thorough advocate, and a sage advisor for all of his legal clients. Congratulations, Bob, on a professional life well lived, and for a very interesting presentation!
Exchange Student Joao Miguel is on his Rotary Youth Exchange West Coast Trip, a 14 day bus tour of western states arranged by Rotary through Belo USA Travel. Students visit Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Disney, Universal, Beverly Hills, Yosemite, and San Francisco.
Moline High School Exchange Student to Brazil Lucy Lareau completed her very successful exchange year and returned to Moline on June 12, 2024. Lucy will attend the Central States Rotary Youth Exchange Summer Conference in July where she and other “Youth Exchange Rebounds” will help prepare the next group of U.S. Outbound Students slated to be on exchange during the 2024 - 2025 school year. In the Fall Lucy will attend Seton Hall University.
Rotary Night at the Ballpark
Make plans to join your fellow area Rotarians on Friday, July 12th to watch the Bandits play ball against Peoria. Tickets are $13. For Section 104 along the First Base Line. Orders must be placed and paid for by Monday, July 8th. We will start taking ticket orders next Monday, June 24.
