Last week's speaker was Anika Martin, Manager, Donors and Community Impact, with the John Deere Classic. Anika Martin, Manager, Donors and Community Impact, with the John Deere Classic, and fellow Moline Rotarian. We heard all about the upcoming John Deere Classic, and its impact on the community from our own Anika Martin. Anika talked about the volunteers and how each year the people of the Quad Cities come together to put on one of the premiere events of the year. She thanked Moline Rotary for their part in the annual event -- running the 18th hole from tee to green. She talked about the Birdies for Charity program and the generous contributions made by not only Moline Rotarians, but the community at large, to make the John Deere Classic one of the top programs in the country.
