Pat Hartmann with Royal Ball Run MAKING A ROYAL DIFFERENCEThe inspiration for the Royal Ball Run for Autism organization stems from the now 1 in 44 children who are diagnosed with autism each year. The run is to celebrate their achievements, their courage, and their future! Their goal is to increase awareness of autism and to support (and celebrate!) families and children touched by autism. Proceeds from the Royal Ball Run for Autism support local programs dedicated to autism treatment and awareness. In the first 10 years, the Royal Ball Run for Autism has invested more than $300,000 in local autism programs thanks to the tremendous support of our participants, partners and sponsors. During each month, Rotarians can earn tickets that go into a jar. One ticket for every time you participate in a club service project, two tickets for each guest, five tickets if you sponsor a new member. During the last meeting of the month, we pull a name and give the card.
