Last week we had the pleasure to welcome Grant Dahlstrom, otherwise known as "Grant the Sports Guy". (@grantthesportsguy) Grant has always had the dream to be a sports broadcaster, and he has had many opportunities in his short 13 years. One of the outstanding opportunities he has taken advantage of was to be the Official Kid Reporter at the John Deere Classic, where he conducted interviews and filed daily updates on his YouTube Channel. Another great opportunity came when he won the Wintrust contest to be The Marquee Sports Network Junior Broadcaster. Grant had a VIP experience as guest of the Marquee Network where Grant was able to perform his craft live on air at Wrigley Field! In addition to all of his past success, Grant was extremely excited to announce that he has just been hired as the new primary play by play broadcaster for Moline Maroons Football on QC Sportsnet! Grant has 596 subscribers, and 885 videos on his YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@grantthesportsguy. We have no doubt that we will be seeing -- and hearing -- a lot from this ambitious and talented young man! |
During each month, Rotarians can earn tickets that go into a jar. One ticket for every time you participate in a club service project, two tickets for each guest, five tickets if you sponsor a new member. During the last meeting of the month, we pull a name and give the card.
