Marcy O'Brien, Executive Director of Rock Island County Children's Advocacy Center, talked about the center's mission of supporting child victims of abuse and crimes by providing a collaborative environment that law enforcement and child protection services utilizes on behalf of the victims. Marcy and Andy promoted The Partners Wine Tasting Benefit to be held on October 5th, 5:30 - 8:00pm at Old Oaks Winery, Milan to benefit the Child Advocacy Center. Tickets are $50.00.

Inbound Exchange Student Joao Miguel reported on his latest week on Exchange after also reaching his 30 day exchange benchmark.
Gary Francque reported that MHS Outbound Exchange Student to Brazil Lucy Lareau has reached her 30 day benchmark and is doing very well in her host city of Ilha Solteira, Brazil.
