We told you we'd see our 2017-18 YE outbound student to Japan, Arianna Rodehaver on August 24th, but our notes were not correct. Instead we were able to see her last week. We have a sweet girl heading out. She has already gathered a number of pins from her time at the Central States Rotary Youth Exchange summer conference. She made us cookies and thanked us for the opportunity stating that she was looking forward to making us proud. Best of luck Arianna!
We will welcome Halenka, our inbound student from Belgium on Friday August 11th, at 4:00 pm at QCIA. Her first Rotary meeting will be August 14th at which we will introduce her. She starts school on August 22nd.
- August 28th is our picnic at Prospect Park
- We will have no meeting on Monday, September 4th in honor of Labor Day
- September 11th is our Golf Outing with the Kiwanis Club of Moline. Sign up sheets are on the table.
