The Rotary Club of Reno South, in cooperation with treesRus, is sponsoring the Washoe Lake State Park Restoration Project and we need you, your spouse, friends, children, and/or grandchildren to participate in order to make this Community Service Project a success. This event is scheduled on Saturday, October 23 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the main entrance to Washoe Lake State Park located on East Lake Boulevard in Washoe Valley.

We are organizing car pools/ride sharing from south Reno to Washoe Valley in an attempt to secure your participation. Please meet in the front parking lot (SE Corner) at Tamarack Junction casino - 13101 S. Virginia Street at 8:30 am to organize the car pools. We will return as soon as the project is completed.

You will need to bring a rake, shovel, pruning sheers, work gloves and your favorite morning beverage to help in clearing brush and plant material which was damaged in a fire during this past summer (see attached flyer). We will also be planting around 30 trees to replace those which were damaged in the fire. The treesRus organization will provide some bottled water and light breakfast snacks as well.

We hope to see you on Saturday, October 23 as we complete this Community Service Project and "SERVE TO CHANGE LIVES"!
