3rd Annual Home & Garden Show

The Salida Sunrise Rotary Club is pleased to once again present this innovative Home and Garden Show.  The Planning Committee has been working hard for the past year to bring you a new and unique show that will inspire you and your family to create and re-create the home and garden of your dreams.

With more than 80 booths and 8 FREE educational seminars and how-to demonstrations, you will learn, see, and discuss innovative gardening and home improvement ideas, products, and services. You will be able to speak with experts from Chaffee County and the surrounding areas about the best ways to move your home and garden projects forward.

New this year is our Secret Garden … a special area just for kids.  Children, ages 3-10, can create fun projects, eat healthy snacks, and/or choose to read and learn about the club's newest project, The Imagination Library.

All of the proceeds from this show will be used for local community grants and scholarships. As a result of our 2014 Home and Garden Show, the Salida Sunrise Rotary Club was able to provide grants to:

The Salida Sunrise Rotary Club also provided scholarships to nine local students in college totaling $10,000.

None of this weekend would be possible without the leadership of Janet Blessington, Chair of the event, and her remarkable committee: Katie Keast, Skye Ridley, Tom Hittle, David Moore, Ken Gardner, Susan Roser, Lee Sohl, Laura Barton and Carol Preiss.  These Rotary Members have worked tirelessly to bring an event we hope you all will enjoy and remember for years to come!

I hope you’ll join us. We all look forward to seeing you at the 2015 Chaffee Home and Garden Show at the Fairgrounds on April 18^th and 19^th!
