The Lucky Ducky Race and Community Celebration
Mark your calendars for
August 23, 2026!
On Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 1:00 - 3:30 pm at Riverside Park, creatively decorated ducks will once again race down the Arkansas River to cheering spectators. Local nonprofits will line the sidewalks with giveaways and fun activities for the kids. Public Fun Races give community members the opportunity to buy a ticket on the spot to sponsor a duck in a 10-duck race.

We want to thank all our 2025 Sponsors and congratulate the winners. Scholarships are awarded in the name of the winning sponsors during the annual Salida High School scholarship awards program in May, 2026. The 2025 winners are:
