Attendance

Attendance at meetings is a right and requirement of Rotarians. The minimum attendance is 50% of meetings in each half year. What makes this so doable for all Rotarians are all of the options available in addition to our regular noon luncheons. The most ready option is to attend other Rotary Club meetings anywhere in the world. We have the Oliver Club as the closest option (they meet Tuesday evenings at 6pm at Air Cadet Hanger, 34444 93rd St) but any club meeting will suffice .... even in Palm Springs! Then there are all the functions our own club has such as board meetings, committee meetings, golf tournament, Polio marches ..... any session in which 2 or more Rotarians meet for an hour or more count and all you need to do is let Holly or John or Jason know within 2 weeks of the meeting you missed and a make-up will be recorded as attendance. Easy, eh? And another option is to attend a Rotary emeeting online from wherever you are .... just go to the District site from Clubrunner and find the tab for Cyber Make-ups, chose an E-club and follow directions. It' actually fun! In September there were 14 make-ups recorded which helped bring our club attendence 65% - well done!
