Welcome! 
The Alvin Sunrise Rotary Club was charted on September 23, 2011 when a group of like-minded individuals chose to work together as an organization to give back to the local community. Since the club's inception, we have given back over $500,000 through student scholarships, donations to local non-profits, and service projects.
 
Our club's annual fundraiser, the Alvin Music Festival, began in a parking lot with less than twenty cook-off teams. Now, our festival averages over 10,000 attendees, more than 170 BBQ cook-off teams, and live-performances from well known artists including Kevin Fowler, Raelynn, the Spazmatics, and Bag of Donuts. While this event is a huge undertaking for a small club, we are very passionate about continuing the tradition as this generates our main source of revenue to give back to the community.
