In 2017-18, under the leadership of President Bill Reynolds, the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise responded to the question “What is Rotary?” by acknowledging and practicing the 2017-18 Theme Rotary: Making a Difference. All Sunrise Rotarians choose to serve because they knew that their service made a difference in the lives of others within the community and worldwide.
Whatever motivation each Sunrise Rotarian had for joining Rotary, it was the satisfaction that each found in Rotary that caused them to remain, the satisfaction of knowing that week by week, year by year, they were a part of Rotary: Making a Difference.
The stories catalogued to the left from the Home Page illustrate how the club and its members responded to this theme and the associated challenges as they strived to continue to “Make a Difference.”
