Congratulations are extended to Randall and Dawn Bamford, who recently reached a Major Donor status for their continuing financial support of The Rotary Foundation. In doing so, Randall and Dawn joined ten other Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise who have attained Major Donor status in past years.
Randall and Dawn were acknowledged for their generous support of the Foundation at the club’s May 14th regular zoom meeting. Club Foundation Committee Chair, Tom Paterson, congratulated the couple on behalf of the club and The Rotary Foundation and then followed with the virtual presentation which included a crystal display and pins for Dawn and Randall.
The Rotary Foundation honours Rotarians as Major Donors when they donate US$10,000 over their membership with Rotary International. Included in the group of members of the club who have been honoured with this achievement in the past are Barb Penner, John Pouliot, Paul Mulvihill/Colleen Mulvihill, Tom/Wendy Paterson, Helmut Hubert, Ed/Vivian Kolybaba, Jerry/Anke Sedmak, Linda Frandsen, Bruce/Donna Falkins and Robin Durrant.
