Our Invocation was missed by the scribe for the newsletter, but I'm sure it was swell.
 
Here we go:

  • Register for the District Conference coming to Kelowna June 18-21! You're not too late, and why not give it a try? See story below.
  •  
  • Sign up for Trash Bash and the Food Drive This Saturday!!!!!!!!! These don't cost money and really make a difference in our own backyards - so to speak.
  •  
  • Sign up for the upcoming Fireside get-together for new members and their spouses - it's a social to provide some background to Rotary and our Club.
 
 
 
  • Attendance Desk for April 24th is on the list in the newsletter and also on the webpage.
  •  
  • Next weeks Sgt At Arms are David D & Dale probably or the other David.
  •  
  • Not sure who celebrates birthdays.
  •  
  • Spouses did not age.
  •  
  • Anniversaries were celebrated by many.
  •  
  • No club anniversaries.
  •  
  •  Congrats to Dan Pan for her first PHF !

  • White Spot North Shore have coupons which provide a 15% contribution from your dining bill to Kay Bingham School!!!  Help out and have a Triple-O on the 'Shore! Get them from Darren W.

  • Our International Project in Sri Lanka is A GO!! It's this October IF WE GET 6 travelers! This a chance of a lifetime, find someone and take them with you, or go on your own. More info from Wade Billey, but June 30th is cut-off to sign-up. Trip leaves Oct 17th and returns the 30th. It is an irrigation project. Giddyup!

  • FOOD DRIVE & BOOGIE are THIS WEEKEND!!

  • Eagle has no more basketball and is in need of activities - invite him out - he's stuck with Richard Srepel and the speak a whole 'nother language!!!!

  • FIRESIDE for new and interested members and spouses is set for May 5th at the home of Kent W. and Arlene. Sign up so Kent knows how many noodles to make.

  • Our Speaker was Bernadette Siracky who described the impact and importance of the Rotary Food Drives.
  • Al Milton provided the introduction - he's the one with the beard.

  • Jim Reynolds is valuable.
