Rotary International – here’s an invitation

Seeking your generous participation

Assisting in the enduring re-creation

Of the world renowned Rotary Foundation.

The Foundation deserves celebration;

Through it, we’re nearing the eradication

Of polio world-wide via vaccination –

A cause that engenders great anticipation.

Citizens globally show appreciation

For the Foundation as an inspiration.

Now’s not the time to take a vacation –

Supporting it is truly your obligation.

I offer this timely supplication:

Contribute to the Rotary Foundation.

Diminish disease and desolation;

Let your gift be a point of exclamation!

Do you need any further motivation?

Whatever your career or occupation,

Give the world a demonstration –

Be a sponsor of this organization.

And so, Rotarians, my exhortation:

Don’t spend time in contemplation.

Rather, make a special November donation

To honor the work of the Rotary Foundation.
