TUESDAY'S PROGRAM: Renee Garvens, Vice President of Development and Jill
Wagner, from the Tobin Performing Arts Center, provided us a look into the Tobin
Center after 10 years. The Tobin Center was renovated by the City from other uses
and opened in September 2014. The facility has a main area that seats 1700 with a
unique floor that routinely is at an angle and can be flattened in a very short time to
allow events requiring a flat floor (there are only 5 venues with that ability). There are
also other small and outdoor areas for events.
