Rotary Club of San Antonio West welcomed former Afghan diplomat Naqibullah Ehsas as our speaker on Tuesday, February 6th.
Rotary Club of San Antonio West was honored to welcome Naqibullah Ehsas as our guest speaker.
During his diplomatic tenure, Naqibullah worked closely with US forces and the US Embassy in Afghanistan. He also was assigned various diplomatic missions and duties in different Asian and European countries, including oversite of Afghan refugees in Pakistan.
His remarks were focused on the downfall of Afghanistan and the plight of millions of refugees who have fled because of the cruelty of the Taliban. He also compared and contrasted life in a country where there is no individual freedom and a country like America, where the freedom of the individual is guaranteed by the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Blue Skies of Texas CEO, General Daryl Jones welcomed Nagibullah to the BSTW campus.
We had several guests from Blue Skies in attendance to hear Naqibullah speak.
The Club recorded an attendance of 65%.
