Our South Central Texas Rotary District engages 55 Rotary clubs and leading those clubs involves an annual visit with each club. Next week it is our turn!! District Governor Craig Hardy meets with our Board at 11:00 and addresses the club over the lunch hour. DG Craig's tour started 1 July and suddenly we were flooded with opportunities to serve--and you can look forward to hearing many first-hand accounts of what it meant to be a Rotarian in our disaster response to the Guadalupe River flood and other flooding in our district.
DG Craig is a retired health care consultant and his Rotary service includes having been an Assistant Governor, District treasurer, Rotary Leadership Institute chair, District Conference chair and many other roles. He was the Club President of the Year for our District when he led his Rotary Club of San Antonio Northwest. He and his wife Carole are multiple Paul Harris Fellows and members of the Bequest Society.
He has degrees from Baylor and Trinity--and is often seen wearing burnt orange as a huge Texas Longhorn fan.
