Dr. Michael is a well-respected manager, advocate, educator, planner, and thought leader in the cultural heritage development space.
His 40 years of experience in the field make him a recognized and sought-after speaker and writer on all topics related to heritage, community planning and development, history, urban economics, and architecture.
He has served globally as a prominent keynote speaker and panelist on historic preservation issues, international preservation education, heritage conservation practices, and community planning.
As a tenured professor, he educated hundreds of students in the preservation field while running a department. For the last decade, he has managed heritage organizations as Executive Director.
He is a sought-after tour leader, providing insight and education for over 25 years in locations such as Chicago, California, Cambodia, China, Peru, Ireland, Japan, and Vietnam.
Vince’s areas of expertise include Community and preservation planning, historic districts, historic sites, heritage areas, urban development, architectural history, art history, house museums, interpretation, tour planning, travel writing, public programs, and public relations for preservation. He has extensive international experience, most notably in East Asia.

- Marcia Tinsley was recognized as approaching her 98th birthday.
- The last District 5840 training was conducted in Uvalde on Saturday, June 1st.
- The Rotary Foundation's annual fundraising raffle was completed, and the winners were drawn at the District 5840 training meeting.
- The 2024-2025 Club Officers will be inducted on Tuesday, July 2nd, at our regular Club meeting.
- A Board of Directors meeting was scheduled for June 11th.
- Club dues for next year are due to the Club Treasurer by July 1st, 2024.
- Club attendance was 43%, with several guests in attendance.
