MEETING TO ORDER:  President Tim Villhauer called the meeting to order at 12:30 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Gary Tomsic gave the invocation.

 

VISITING ROTARIANS:   George Tsakumis, Vancouver Club, Jeanne McGee, Melaque Mexico Club, Randy Bode, Mount Baker Club, and Lynn Templeton, BellinghamBay Club.

 

GUESTS:  Kris wife of Bill Grace. Ken Willis guest of President Tim.

 

BIRTHDAYS & ANNIVERSARIES:  None    

 

RETURNING ROTARIANS:  None 

 

ANNOUNCMENTS:

 

Bill Grace announced that roster updates were available, pick one up !

He also mentioned that current pictures are needed for next year's roster,

 

Brian Finnegan announced the Auction will be Friday - Tomorrow !

 

HAPPY BUCKS:     The following people were happy:

 

Tim was happy? That he forgot to introduce his guest Ken and about having his picture in the paper.

Jack C. - For being a table host.

Phil B. - For being a table host.

Greg T. - For being  "Crutch Free"

Dan B. - For all the students and Brian's hard work.

George T. - For visiting once again.

Bill G. - For the traffic circle at Ten Mile Road and not having power after a truck driver couldn't figure out what to do with it.

Roger L. - For all the students and the staff represented today.

Jeanne Mc. - For a Galley Show in Seattle

Brian F. - For his assistant Noah's hard work on the auction.

Maureen Mc. - For a trip to Belgium and Holland.

Marlene S. - For an upcoming grand daughter.

Bob B. - For an upcoming great grand daughter.

Ray G. - Five dollars for all the auction donations and Twenty dollars for "Noah's Sanity Fund".

Martha Stevens - For the picnic tables the club built for the students at MeridianHigh School.

Lynn Templeton - For getting a $752,000 grant for The Boys and Girls Club.

 

 

FINEMASTER:  Ken Richardson

 

A general fine of $3 for all members to speed things along to allow for the program.

 

Banners:  All Caribbean Clubs.

 

PROGRAM:  2009 Youth Service Awards.

 

Tim V. was the M/C for the presentations, and the following presentations were made:

All the students received a $500.00 award along with their names being added to the school's plaque.
