MEETING TO ORDER: President Chuck Tull called the meeting to order at 12:30 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Rick Staeb gave the invocation.
VISITING ROTARIANS: George Tsakumis of Vancouver, and Jeanne McGee of Mexico, and John Stoler of Red Bluff, California.
GUESTS: Marlene S. had husband Mark and Jonathan. Tyler C. brought is daughter Madeline. Also seen at the beginning of the meeting was Leah M. with her daughter.
BIRTHDAYS & ANNIVERSARIES: None.
RETURNING ROTARIANS: None.
ROTARY FOUNDATION MOMENT: Stan Brunner talked about how Polio should be wrapped-up in six months.
ANNOUNCMENTS: President Chuck announced a board meeting on May 6th at 7:30. Paul C – The Group Study Exchange "is all set", on May 12th there will be an event at Nancy T's. contact Paul for details. Chuck T.-Youth Services ready to go May 20th, but we are still short bank sponsors. Ray G.- "Club in a Club" is ready to go on May 22nd. Ken R.- had no report about the "Change of Officer's Dinner Meeting", on June 25th. Bill G.- passed the correction sheet around for the new roster. The I-5 Hi-Way Clean-up will be May 1st at 10:00 AM. Larry R. passed out cards for "Welcome Home Gift Drive". A thank-you card from the Youth Fair was passed around.
HAPPY BUCKS: The following people were happy:

FINEMASTER: Scott Wallace:
Scott was his usual self ! He decided to pick on Ray G. The "Wallace Rule" was waived and Ray paid extra. – Bill G. was fined $5 for something to do with cookies. – People with missing roster information were fined. – Lex L. about bussing dishes ? – Anyone wearing a tie, including the GUEST SPEAKER, were fined. – Anyone that took fewer than two cookies were fined. – Anyone that talked on a cell phone, while driving, $2 texting cost $5. – Ray G. got caught again for another $5, Scott offered Ray monthly installments. – Paul C. and Tyler C. for Haggen's
Rankings. – Tim got fined $5 for everything. – Earth day non-participants were fined $1.
Banners: All represented Earth Day in some way.
PROGRAM: Pete R. introduced State Representative Doug Erickson of Ferndale. Doug gave an informative report on the recent legislative session. Many questions followed.
