MEETING TO ORDER:  President Chuck Tull called the meeting to order at 12:30 and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Tony Cubellis gave the invocation.

 

VISITING ROTARIANS:  George Tsakumis from Vancouver        , BC - Roy Gandy from MadisonCountyGA - Jeanne McGee from Mexico - Jeffery Jansen from Mt. Baker Club - and Mark Landen former Rotarian.

 

 

GUESTS:  Ray G. and Laurie L. had Carlie Wade, she is helping to put together a Face Book Page for the Club, and doing a lot of work on the Club in a Club Event that will be held on Saturday.

ANNOUNCMENTS: President Chuck announced there will be no meeting on Thursday July 1st due to the 4th of July weekend. Also there will be no meeting on June 24th, but will be held instead on, Friday evening, June 25th for Induction of Officers and Board Members.

Ray G.- "Club in a Club" is ready to go on Saturday May 22nd at 5:00 PM. AS OF TODAY ONLY NINE MEMBERS HAVE SIGNED UP TO ATTEND ! AS FAR AS THIS EDITOR IS CONCERNED - THIS IS HORRIBLE - CALL RAY AND GET SIGNED UP TO SUPPORT YOUR CLUB !

Marlene S. has had a very poor return rate on her e-mail, asking for Committee Preferences. Please get back to Marlene with your choices so she can plan her upcoming year.

Bill G. is within a week of going to press with the Roster. Get in touch with Bill if you have any last minute changes.

BANNERS: May 17th was Norwegian Constitution Day.

 

PROGRAM:  Leah Macaleer was Master of Ceremonies for The Student Scholarships Program. Each student gave a short talk on their extra curricular activities. It never ceases to amaze me how these students find time to do any school work ! Below is a list of the winners and the banks that helped the club with the scholarships:
